(Warren AFB, WY) Hi 88 Lo 57 -- We decided to not do much of anything today. We've been on the go, and with our mild altitude sickness and the stress of the repair of our slide, we took the opportunity to stay in and chill today.
I worked on my computer and did a lot of updates, and played games both on the computer and my smart phone. Jim read on his Kindle, and read some magazines that have been piling up. He also looked up info about our future destinations on the computer.
We heard from several people that the best way to combat altitude sickness is to drink lots of water, so we kept our water bottles handy all day.
We plan to be out and about with Marsha and Kerry tomorrow. Until then, we're also taking a little bit of a break from the blog and keeping this short.

I've never had to deal with altitude sickness (at least not yet). Sure hope you guys feel much better tomorrow and ready for another day of being out and about.
When we were in the Andes in Bolivia (the airport at La Paz is over 11,000 feet), they gave us coca tea as the remedy for altitude sickness...
Too bad that non-narcotic tea isn't available here.
While on an RV tour out west last year, we were told to eat chocolate and drink lots of water for relief from the altitude sickness. It seemed to help us, maybe it was just the sugar buzz that helped !
we all need a 'down day' every now and then...hope you feel better soon...and adjust to the altitude...
One of my good friends is a prof at Northwest College in Powell WY.....that is the only other thing I know about WY, other than VP Cheney!
Just like a hangover, water and time is the cure for altitude sickness
