Happy Birthday to My Mother

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 84 Lo 56 -- My Mother is 89 today. What a milestone! Happy Birthday, Mom. We wish you many more!

On the agenda today was getting the basement of the RV cleaned out and reorganized. We needed to reorganize everything due to stuff shifting while traveling, and we wanted to sort out stuff we haven't used. While we were doing that the Schwann's food truck showed up with our order. It was our last time to get some of the meats and vegetables we love and can get only from Schwann's. He came in the early afternoon, and now I have a very full freezer again.

We went to Walmart for some last minute groceries, and on the way home we stopped by Kathleen and Jon's to say goodbye until this fall. They're flying to South Dakota for a couple of days, and they're leaving very early tomorrow morning. So this was out last chance to see them before we leave. We're so thankful for the time we spent with Kathleen and Jon. They're very active like us, and it was so much fun doing things together. We'll miss them this summer, and are looking forward seeing them again this fall when we return here.

We had a quick dinner then went to the clubhouse for our last evening of cards.  We've had a lot of fun and laughs. We said our goodbyes to the regulars we played with every week.

We're winding down, and the excitement is building. Three more days til we start our summer travels!
