We got up about 8:00 had coffee in the hotel room, went down to breakfast (which was really good layout) then on to Boone, NC. It was windy and cold 27 but sunny. The further we got west the cloudier it got and then snow. We had some very rough roads and places where there was construction taking care of landslides. The route is 321 in NC near the Blue Ridge Highway.
We met Jenny in 2008 at the RV-Dreams rally. She lives in TN and we didn't have time to go up that far, so we met in the middle distance, Boone, NC. Jenny it was great seeing you again. Thanks for the idea.
We left about 1:00 and on the way back the construction that was fixing the landslide area was closed till 2:00, so we sat in the car waiting. I slept and Jim read his Kindle. He takes it everywhere, good idea.
When we got back to Hickory we stopped at the dealer to see how things are going. They have everything almost fixed. They did find a leak so looking for any other problems. The Big Foot (leveling) system is still being checked and we'll know tomorrow morning if we can pick it up in the morning.
What a wonderful day, and more sightseeing coming up.

How neat to get to see Jenny again!
First, I wanted to let you know I read your journal today.Second I have been to the Boone area a couple times and it is beautiful.So glad you were able to get out and about.Keep visiting other Dreamers,it will make you feel better.
So glad you got to visit with Jenny. Before you know it Tumbleweed will be heading South, just don't take the cold weather with you. Stay safe in your travels.
