Work and Hockey

I didn't have to be at work till 10:00 so sleeping in felt really good. It was rainy, sleeting and freezing rain till late morning. I didn't have any trouble getting to work and I had mom's car. Jim wanted to get mine serviced with oil change and the inspection since he was home today.

Work was wild. I thought I had a good handle on the projects that the engineers were doing all week, but found out I didn't have some of the yearly totals done, so it was very busy. Mrs Boss will be at work all weekend and hopefully next week she will be able to take some time off like she wanted to do this week. When I left work at 5:00, I came home picked up Jim went to get a couple sandwiches and went to the hockey game.

Story:
We're from St. Louis, or that's where we call home. Our son lives outside St. Louis and my sister is nearby. We lived at the Air Force base for 12 years near St. Louis so we went to the hockey games in St. Louis. I like the little blue note they have on their uniforms. I've always like the Blues so I wore my sweatshirt and earrings to the game. They lost to the Carolina Hurricanes. I didn't see anyone else there that was for the Blues, but that's ok. I guess the Blues will always be my team as long as they're in St. Louis. They meet up with the Hurricanes once a year, but they're back and forth being here and in St. Louis. I go to the game when they're here in town.
