Shopping - 2nd Thoughts

I'm getting real use to the 9:00am get up time. This next week I'll be back to the normal hours, so I should be able to sleep till 9 a couple days a week. I worked on the 2009 budget the first part of the morning. I also took all the budgets I could find from full time websites and did a comparison to what we spend and what is possibly spent on the road.

Around noon we decided to go to the mall. We've heard it wasn't too bad and we had all day. I needed a couple of things and Jim was looking for long sleeve shirts with pockets. We both found what we wanted. We stopped to talk to a guy that was selling Direct TV. We have never asked about what's involved in a dish and what the prices are. We learned from the guy that a new box will be coming out that will also take care of internet access. It's not in very many areas now, but Raleigh seems to be the testing area for it. It's to take place of the wireless aircard for phones. The name is Clear, which is from Clearwire. We'll keep an eye on it, but for now it's not worth it, there's very few cell towers to support it. He was saying in a year it will be nationwide.

2nd Thoughts
It pops up from time to time that we have thought maybe fulltime wouldn't be what we want to do. We would rather buy other stuff, spend the money on things we want. We're going to miss a couple things that we have now, like Jim wants the 52" tv and I want to keep the grand father clock we built. We'll have to change the little things that we like doing. Then we look at what we're spending by staying here and we'd have to work till we died because there's nothing else to do. We'd still be away from the kids and we wouldn't be making the friends that they say you do on the road. I guess the feeling will pass, it usually does. In the meantime, the time is still:
