Being OLDER Helps

Last night it started getting colder, so instead of shorts and t-shirt, it was time for flannels and long johns. It's surprising there's very little sickness around the area. It was 39 when I got up at 6:30 and 5:30 pm it was 62. what a difference.

I went to work at 8am because Mrs Boss was to take today off to put her decorations away. She came in with biscuits about 9:00. Instead of leaving, she stayed because Mr Boss wanted her to do stuff. She had me change out printers and install new ones. One of the employees came to me with a printer switch box and wondered if I knew what it was. Yep, I use to have one to put a printer between two PC's and you flip the knob to your computer so you can print. He thought that was so funny. We've come a long way in computers. It made me feel so old. I setup a brand new printer for Mrs Boss then she couldn't get into her computer. After working with it for half hour and rebooting a couple times, it came up ok. It's the end of the year and all the reports are ready to go on Thursday, hopefully. I work another 8 hour day tomorrow. The more hours I get the quicker we can get on the road. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.

The evening was normal, with blogs, emails, chat and watching TV.
