Midwest Travel Day 7 - College - Older Son's

O'Fallon, IL (Hi 76  Lo  65)

We left Rick's at  9:00.  Since it's Labor Day weekend we didn't know if there would be a lot of traffic or very little. It was great, no semi's and not a lot of traffic. We are seeing more RV's headed south.  We stopped at the Illinois State University to see our grandson Kyle. We also met his girlfriend, Lauren. We went to lunch then got him some groceries. We only stayed a couple hours.

Dee, Kyle, Jim

We left his apartment and headed on south to O'Fallon to our oldest son, Frank and family. We got there at 4:30 so we made good time.

We had dinner and watched the latest on hurricane Dorian. We have a few things for this week planned. Stay tuned.

Our notes:
264 miles
1 1/2 hr with Kyle
Left at 9am and arrived at 4:30pm
