Calm before the Storm

(Edwardsville, IL) Hi 76  Lo 45 -- Wonderful day today, clear skies and perfect temperature.  Our forecast is to get heavy rain tomorrow. So it's the calm before the storm.  Today was a lazy day, but starting tomorrow there's going to be a lot going on and we'll be busy for the next few days. Another calm before the storm.

Frank came over this afternoon on his way home from work. He and Jim talked sports and we discussed the next few days and what we can do with the kids. They're out of school this Friday and Monday (Columbus Day holiday). We'll have to keep the activities mostly indoors since it will probably be raining.

Not much going on at the moment, but that's not going to last long.  See you tomorrow.

Enjoy the kids. They don't stay young for very long.

I was confused for just a moment. Our grandkids out of school for Columbus Day. Thinking that's what you meant. Regardless, have fun with the kids. Don't let them tire you out like ours does to us.
