This is our first blog in 2014. We're looking forward to another great summer of traveling this year, and we'll resume posting the blog every day once we get on the road again.
We spent New Years Day watching TV. The Rose Bowl parade was in the morning and Jim watched football most of the afternoon. We did have Jim and Judy over for dinner. We've been wanting some chicken and dumplings, and you just don't fix a whole chicken without having guests to help you eat it. We still had enough left over to have a couple more meals we'll make later.

We played Hand and Foot after dinner. It's great having someone else to play with to keep our minds active. Thanks Jim and Judy for making our New Years Day special.
Thursday we decided to see a movie. Jim wanted to see Wolf on Wall Street. I didn't like it at all, even though I must say Leonardo DiCaprio did a great acting job. Jim really liked it, but I'd say it's a MAN'S movie. If you're thinking of going to see it, be advised it has lots of sex and drugs in it. It's almost x-rated.
We still have several movies we want to see, but we have to work around all the other activities going on this month. Stay tuned, we'll post again in three days.
