(Epsom, NH) Hi 78 Lo 53 -- This was a day of catching up. This next week will be a busy one, with a long drive tomorrow, so Jim got the tires all checked. We had a buggy sensor on our Pressure Pro tire monitoring system, so he removed all the sensors, re-programmed them, and now they're all working fine. He also printed out our route for tomorrow's trip, using Google Maps. We're headed to Holden, Maine, which is about 10 miles from Bangor.
I backed up all the pictures we’ve taken this month so far and read up on blogs of whoever I could find who’s been to Maine. We want to see as much as we can, and I want at least a couple of lobsters. There’s so much to see and do and we're looking forward to it.
I walked around our park to get some pictures and learn a little more about it. I talked to a lady from Cape Cod sitting out by her RV. They come here once a month from Massachusetts to get away from the traffic. I know the feeling. :)
Here’s some views around the park. (Click on photos to enlarge them.)
The gate coming into the park.
Notice the horse on top of the building, on the left side of the photo. Here's a closer view.
The meeting room.
Pool area. It was packed earlier this weekend.
Play area. Check out the tire wall.
Some of the sites.
The office area.
The bath house.
This is one of the seasonal sites, across from us. Interesting way to add additional living space to their RV site. They had a big family gathering this weekend.
Tomorrow we're on the move. There’s some RV-Dreams couples workamping in and around Acadia National Park that we’re hoping to see. It’s been a great summer so far!
