Craft Planning Meeting

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 81 Lo 59 -- Busy day. As soon as I get up, eat and move around a bit, it's time to walk. All three of us did a couple miles today starting out in very thick fog, but it lifted by the time we got back home. It was getting pretty warm so we called it quits.

After some lunch I went to the annual craft planning meeting, where they plan what crafts do to for the rest of the season. The lady that's in charge is giving it up next year after twelve years of teaching crafts. A couple of ladies volunteered to take it over for next year. We learn a lot at our craft sessions and I'm glad there will be someone taking it over. Some of the crafts I've seen done, but some I haven't. We took votes on different ideas to do for the rest of the year, some that had been done in the past but were popular enough to do again. Quite interesting.

After the craft get together Jim and I sat outside with Jimmy and Judy just visiting. They're hoping there's no rain tomorrow as they're going on an airboat tour. That sounds like so much fun, I hope they get to go.

We had dinner then went to play cards. It's so fun being with the group. It was another great day in paradise.
