Sports - Reading

(Avon Park, FL) Hi 81 Lo 63 -- We planned nothing today and that's just about what we did.

Jim dumped the tanks and did a back flush on the black tank. He also ran the generator under load for an hour or so to give it some exercise. Everything worked fine, so that's done for another couple of months.

Today was all about sports. Jim loves the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the University of North Carolina basketball team.  They were both on TV at the same time so he was switching back and forth.  They both won. Now it's the NASCAR  Nationwide race from Las Vegas. He's watching NASCAR Race Buddy, which lets you watch the whole race from several in-car cameras, and you can also hear the radio communications. He's a big Danica Patrick fan, and he's having a ball watching the race from inside her car. NASCAR usually charges for Race Buddy, but it's free today. He's not sure if it's free just for today or for all the Nationwide races.

I read most of the day and walked to Kathleen's to see a rug she's making. I forgot to take a picture, but it's done with a hook with an eye at the other end. I believe she called it hooker. She learned it at a craft class last year at the clubhouse. I have got to do craft classes next year.

It looked like rain most of the day, but we didn't get any. Just hot and muggy. Tomorrow we have some fun planned, so stay tuned.

Hey Dee,
That's "locker hook". Just so you know I'm not a hooker! :)
