Rainy and Cold... In June!

(Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada) Hi 60 Lo 55 Rainy -- No sun came in the window to wake me up, so I slept later this morning. We didn't have anything planned and we're glad we didn't, it rained off and on all day.

Jim did the laundry and checked the tires on the truck and RV. I had to repack the closet with the tubs of stuff that we've been in and out a lot while here. I also combined a couple of partly filled tubs into one.  One set of pantry doors keep coming open while traveling and would bang against the wall, so I put a little piece of velcro on the top so it would stay put. We're now ready for our departure routine tomorrow morning.

We're going to Mattawa, Ontario to Sid Turcotte RV Park.  It's about 4 1/2 hours, so it's not going to be a really long day.  They have free wi-fi but not at the sites. They told us we'll need to sit at a picnic table outside the office in order to pick up the signal. So we'll at least get the blog done each day. And it looks like I'll have to find something to do in the evenings instead of chat.  I'll probably work on string art. We also have a lot of shows recorded on our DVR. We'll be there three days, so we'll get to do some sightseeing.

It's going to be fun times in the next couple weeks. I hope you follow along.

That high of 60 sounds pretty refreshing, as we're pretty well set into the mid 90's right now -- UGH!!!

Safe travels.
