I got up way too early, just one of those days. We read blogs for part of the morning then left at 10:30 to pick up mom and get groceries. We also got our mail which piles up quickly after a few days. We're hoping to have most of the mail go to my sister after this week. That's one detail we'll work on once we know WHEN we'll be leaving North Carolina.After ge
tting all the errands done, we went to our friends for the Daytona 500 race. It was a great race but the track came apart twice and they had to fix it. It made for a very long day, but we were in great company. We had pizza for the first part of the race, then went for chicken when the second long caution came out.Tomorrow will be Jim's first day of NOT going to work. He can get propane or stuff for the rig without taking off work. This is going to be so cool. We're taking bets on when we go to the dealers. We're just hoping there's no more bad weather and not be able to go when they do call.
We checked out military bases along the route to Florida. We found a few so we'll check that out as soon as we get out of the dealer. There's nothing we can do now but wait. We just wish we could have warmer weather.
