Does Anyone Work Anymore?

I had a wonderful time in the RV-Dreams chatroom last night. We're getting a few new people and some of the crazy things that was going on is now gone. There's always someone that wants to upset the applecart when a good thing is going on. Howard the owner of the website and chatroom has been in the past few nights and he's given so much advice and knowledge about different topics. The discussion last night was how to sell your home in todays market. There's so many of the chatters that are wanting to go fulltime and trying to sell their homes. There were a lot of us still in the chatroom past midnight, est.

Jim was home today and we had a lot to get done. We thought being a Friday people would be at work, but that just wasn't the case. We had to go to Verizon and the line was long, we waited half hour to get our turn. Rain was so bad, it was a miserable day to get everything done in a timely matter. Jim took his truck in to a shop to have our ham radio put in it. I'll be in my car behind him so we want good communication between the two of us. We got home later in the afternoon before the rain was really hard and darkness set in. There were lots of wrecks and just 45 min to the north, it was all snow with slick roads and school closures. Washington DC may have 30" of snow.

This next week more will be done for the fulltime lifestyle, hopefully:
We're setting up our mail service and having most of it go to my sister.
Getting our prescriptions for eyes and health care copied
Getting the car ready, oil change and checked over

We're waiting for the factory to get our repair parts to the dealer. Then we'll have to watch the weather (as of now we can't get there because of heavy snow). We're excited and nervous.

Our visitors that were going to see the RV tonight, canceled, the weather is just too bad.

Jim has 32 hours of work left. Time is short. Preparing for the dealer call and heading out.

Dee -- YOU are one of the reasons the chat room is so enjoyable!

We have just started participating there and really like it.

Last night was fun. Not only some great conversation regarding home selling but some great laughs too!

Yes, Dee makes our chat room sooo nice! She is like the hostess and greets us and makes us feel welcome and comfortable. And serves her imaginary coffee and drinks! LOL It's the best chat room I have ever been in!!!

I'm binge reading your blog. Think this is the first time you mentioned you will be following in your car. We can't decide if we want a second vehicle or not. As we plan to stay for long periods in one spot we are thinking it would be a fair trade off for not being together while traveling. Then again, we think maybe we should not take a second vehicle and see what happens, knowing we can buy another.
