Preparing for RV PICKUP!

What a night. I went to bed at a decent hour, but didn't sleep much. When I did get into a deep sleep it was 7am and a huge lightning bolt and thunder woke me up. That's not good, that means bad weather coming up, hope it hold off till we get the RV to Raleigh.

I finally got up at 10:00 and noticed I had the shakes. That's usually because I haven't eaten and needed to get something immediately. I never did calm down totally. I'm so excited and anxious. Tomorrow we get the RV. We're leaving at 7am we should get there for the paperwork and do the PDI by 1:00. I tried to think back what did we need for camping for three days. The RV has nothing in it except the furniture, so what foods, blankets, clothes etc do I need to pack. I kept busy putting stuff in the truck all day long when I thought of each object. I loaded foods that are quick to fix and put them in plastic boxes. It was fun.

Today was 74 degrees so I opened the windows and did a walk to try to calm down. Some of the things we've done this week for those that are getting ready is:

Get the insurance started
We started Coachnet for the emergency service
We bought the BBQ Grill
We ordered the Satellite which will be put on sometime next week
We got the pressure pro on the tires
We have the whole house surge protector to be installed on Friday

We're ready to roll in the morning. I hope the mifi works well so I can post a bunch of pictures tomorrow night and tell you how the PDI went.

Stay tuned, it's going to get interesting. The temperatures are to drop to 20's, so we'll have to learn everything plus try to keep from having water lines freeze.

Dee, good luck picking up the new rig, and try not to be so nervous about everything. The reason we RVers are usually calm no matter what, is that we have our home hooked on the back. No matter where we are or what happens, you can't get stranded without the house, it's right behind you!!! LOL!
Have some fun!
