Dumping Tanks - Shopping - Laundry

We didn't get too cold last night!! We let the fireplace run all night and put the propane to 66 deg. We're working to bring it down to 64. Since Jim is still working I'm not going to worry about paying for propane, but I'm sure not going to get sick and get chilled so we're doing well on 66 at night and 68 or 70 during the day.

Jim worked on dumping the tanks this morning. A couple people told us to wait till the black tank is at least 2/3 full so that wasn't touched. He did dump the grey tank with no problems. We have to get eaves trough for the black hose which I'll pick up tomorrow. Jim did some other little things outside, but it's too cold to stay long. Luckily it was sunny today but never got above 35.
We went to Walmart to get a ceramic heater along with a few other little items.
We found the Lasko ceramic heater, so we'll put that facing the bedroom tonight.

We went back to Cary to the apartment to do the laundry and pack up the stuff we still want in the RV for at least the month we're staying here. We also watched some TV shows that were TiVo'ed for the week. I'll have to get things sorted out for selling, but not worried about it yet. We ate at our favorite Mexican place then headed back to the RV. It's a 30 mile trip so takes a bit of time with traffic.

We're doing great! We both love it so far and we'll get it under control before we leave in Feb. which is

Days to leave for Texas 54

Just remember everything gets easier each time you do it. It's all a learning curve at this point. We have been full-timing for 4 months now and Dortha is right, we learn something new all the time or a new way to do something we've done before.

I think the weather has everybody anxious to head south at this point. We've had plenty of rain and the lowest temp here has been about 25 but we've stayed warm and toasty. Maybe we should all do a countdown till spring. LOL

Glad to hear things are working out great! We have the same heater as that one you got, and we really like it. Last week we took it to our kids house when their furnace went out. They liked it so much, we bought one now for them for Christmas! Good choice!

Enjoy this time and figure out all the little things while your close to home. When you get out on the road you will be formilar with all the bells and whistles. Another thing I have is a multi-meter to read voltages. I checked all my twelve volt points in the RV and wrote all of thme down so if anything goes wierd I can go back and start reading them and see where something is missing. Sounds a little over board but you never know what a little here and there may help you later. Knowing what the voltage reading here and there should be might help spot a problem down the road.
